Invitation to Join Our Solar Energy Co-op

Three organizations in Northwest Philadelphia have banded together to bring solar energy to Northwest Philadelphia.  Our plan is to form a solar energy co-op.  We invite all individuals, businesses, and neighborhood institutions in Northwest Philadelphia to join.  We call ourselves the Northwest Philadelphia Solar Co-op.

Solar in the Northwest: A Personal Perspective

I’ve been hearing about solar panels since I was in high school, over 3 decades ago. But yesterday, as a member of the Northwest Philadelphia Solar Co-op, I interviewed a Mt Airy couple who have had solar panels on their roof for a year and a half now. Both were eager to talk about their experience.
